Distortion
I am getting a distorted sound lately, and I have assumed that it was just my processor but has anyone else had this? Its as if there's a dragging in time and a breaking up of sound briefly, every bar or two.

Further to this, I see that the cursor is advanced about a bar or so ahead of where its playing. I don't remember this before, but I've been having this problem over the last 2 iterations or so.

This happens when your computer can't keep up with the processing.
It means that either the SoundFont is larger that your computer can handle or you have too many things going on at the same time (other programs working in the background).
If the cursor gets ahead during playback you can stop playback and start it again at it will be in the correct place. It occasionally happens to me (and has done so since 0.9.2 when I first started using MuseScore).
