I have created a 6 stave score and have currently used 230 measures.
I have labeled the six parts but when I click to create them a problem arises and the program closes.
If I reduce the no of measures I can create the parts but all marks for dynamics etc are lost and also key signatures.

I guess those won't happen with a (recent) nightly build.
There won't be fixes for 1.2 anymore.
Is it possible that you use voltas in parts > 1 ?
