factory settings reset
In answer to Church Organist post, I cannot get the factory thing to work either. The RUn odes not like any of the things Musescore has in my computer C: Users, Musexcore/Bin etc. etc. RE: toolbar for playback gone and text toolbar also

Try the attached script (for Windows only). I wrote it to alleviate the issues doing factory resets.

No, that is taken care for. What is not taken care for is non-englisch versions, at least of WinXP.
And non-standard path for Program Files
Using "%ProgramFiles%\MuseScore\bin\mscore.exe" instead of "C:\Program Files\MuseScore\bin\mscore.exe" and "%ProgramFiles(X86)%\MuseScore\bin\mscore.exe" (I think) instead of "C:\Program Files (x86)\MuseScore\bin\mscore.exe" should fix these issues

You're right, I will fix that in the script. I do forget to use system variables.

Here's it with using system variables, so should work on non-English versions too.
Wouldn't it be a good idea to add it to the handbook, as an attachment to http://musescore.org/en/handbook/revert-factory-settings?
@Soichi: No, script doesn't work. Wizard Create new Score crashes MS!
