Pasting in new notation without overwriting the old notation?
My objective is to take a piano arranged bass clef and treble clef notation then paste it in together onto a single guitar/tab score, I started with the bass notation however when I proceed to add the treble notation it simply overwrites the old bass notation with the new treble notation, how can I prevent this and merge the two musical passages onto a single staff?

I want to add a measure of eighth notes one octave above the existing eighth notes without overwriting them. Can I do that in MS 3?

Or, if you just want to add these new eighths notes as chords in the same voice as the existing note,s just select the range and press Alt+8 to add notes an octave above.
