I am new with this, want to be able to write in chords along with lyrics and occasionally at tablature. For guitar
For now, any help advise on adding in lyrics and chords?

Do you mean, you want lyrics but no notes? Normally, you'd enter notes to attach lyrics to - that's how lyrics are designed to work. But if you just want a lyric sheet, it's probably more strioghtforward to use staff text (also found in the manual, under Text ) .
