Synthesizers

Why do synthesizers come without speakers?
Can they be used for studying Piano lessons?

Comments

Built in speakers on keyboards are normally useless for live performance, which is what most synths are designed for. They are also unnecessary in a studio environment where one would want all sources (synths, audio, etc) playing through the same speakers. So they are unnecessary for most purposes for which they are designed. But sure, they *can* be used to practice piano if you like, and in that case, you'd want speakers and/or headphones to use. But you would want to choose an instrument with weighted keys if your goal is to play piano.

Well, it will need an amplifier, you can't just hook up home stereo speakers unless they are powered speakers. But any mp & speaker should in principle be fine.

BTW, these questions really have nothing at all to do with MuseScore, you'd be far better off asking them somewhere more focused on the topic of keyboards and synthesizers.
