Selection of bar visible after being hidden
1. Open attached score (produced in 1.3).
2. Click on one of bars 5-8 in 'Voice'.
3. 'Style'>'General...'.
4. Tick 'Hide empty staves' and 'Don't hide empty staves in first system'.
5. 'OK'.
Result: The selection is still visible.
Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (025f37c) - Mac 10.7.5.

Bug still persist in rev. 61409b1
I think the selection can be removed, when it only spans the measures that are hidden after enabling the Hide empty staves option.
If so, there is one more thing to consider:
1. Open attached score.
2. Input a note in one of the bars 5-8 in 'Voice'
3. Select one of the bars from 1-4 and select all the bars up to bar 5.
4. 'Style'>'General...'.
5. Tick 'Hide empty staves' and 'Don't hide empty staves in first system'.
6. 'OK'.
Expected: The selection would shrink only to the visible measures.
Result: Selection still shows both the visible, and hidden bars selected.
Would removing the selection be a good solution to this bug?
Interesting score. Opening it in master leads to 1-line staves. Repeating the scenario leads to jumping score to fit one page and undo leads to crash. Possibly, the crash relates to changing instrument staff properties, not the scenario itself.
I didn't investigate much but I noticed this too a little while ago. I think it's a problem with 1.x scores; 1-line staves become 5, and vice versa.
That's another reason I'm remastering scores now, just incase.
Anyway, it needs another proper issue.
