grouping of notes as an intrinsic property of time meter

I need to associate an automatic way of grouping the notes to each change of meter:
for example 9/8 whose eights are automatically grouped in 4+4+1 rather than 3+3+3
...maybe there is already such a feature but not in the time meter window, in (v1.2).
