cue notes
How can I input cue notes of another instrument in my rest bar(s)? When I input them as a second voice, the one-measure rest bar of my score is divided into rests of the same duration as the cue notes, which I obviously don't want. Any solution for this?

Yes. Starting at the beginning of a rest bar in my score, I click "voice 2" button and then input the other instrument's notes with the result I mentioned before.

Please show your score (or a sample measure) and step by step to reproduce. It doesn't work that way.

That looks like what you want. All you have to do is add the slur and the move the measure rests up a space in the inspector or press the up arrow once for each.
