Move bass clef closer to lyrics

Hard to tell without seeing the score. Maybe Style -> general -> score -> lyric lower margin?

Posting the score you are having trouble with always helps. I'm guessing, though, that you don't actually care about the location of the *clef* itself, but rather, the *staff* that happens to start with a bass clef. The basic distance between the two staves that make up a single instrument (which I'm guessing is how you have set up your score) is the Accolade Distance, so that's one setting to play with. Also check the Lyrics Lower Margin. And be sure you didn't accidentally start to enter another verse below whatever you already have.
