Low Notes on Tuba Part
I am trying to arrange a song with both Tuba and Drums, but I can not put a note lower than an A because it goes into the drum clef. On the tuba these are perfectly reasonable notes, and are commonly used. I was wondering if there was any way to do this.

You could switch to a clef an octave lower, the bass clef with the little 8 below.
That way you'd avoid the low notes to collide with the sfaff below.
Add the note in the tuba one octave up, then select it and press Ctrl + Down.

I'm guessing you are trying to place notes by clicking on the score? That works of course course, but there are other methods that are usually more efficient. See Note entry . Simply type letter names, and use Ctrl-Up/Down to change octaves when needed.
