No dynamics !
using a WIN XP PC for Nightly
I cannot use any dynamics in new or existing scores.
All dynamics are availible from dynamics or master palett
- but if I select e.g. p or mf
- draggging it into the score
- it disappeares immediately in music.
(Save and reload the score has no improvement.)

Add Dynamics works with a trick
- just found out -
If I highlight a single note
I can doubleclick a palett dynamic symbol
to add it into score !
This helps at the moment
but should be available too with drag and drop function
as all (or most) other palett functions.

Just to clarify - this isn't a "trick". Selecting a score element then double clicking the palette icon is the normal / usual way for most palette items to be applied. The only palette items that should ever need drag & drop are lines & other items that are not attached to specific notes.
But yes, drag & drop does current seem broken for some element types right now.
Can someone create a proper issue in the issue tracker?
