Multiple Standard in Stave Type

• Oct 7, 2013 - 19:50

1. Open attached score.
2. Right-click any pitched stave.
3. 'Stave Properties...'.
4. Click on the dropdown box at 'Type:'.

Result: There are two Standards.

Discussion: I'm not sure if it's a bug, but I can't properly think as to why there is two.

Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (0bc17a9) - Mac 10.7.5.

That score defines two new staff types, one called "Standard" and one called "Tambourine". The latter is used by the Tambourine instrument (makes sense), the former is actually not used in the score.

I can speculate that the two additional staff types have been created when adding intruments (this is expected under some conditions). But a description of the steps used to create the score could help in understanding what happened. Also knowing when the score has been created would help, as staff type machinery changed a lot along the way.

Thanks,

M.
