Zerberus Clarinet playback problem

• Jul 15, 2017 - 18:03

(I am using Musescore 2.1.0 Revision 871c8ce in Windows 10. )
One score I've written for clarinet - using the new wonderful sounding Zerberus Clarinet solo font - plays back perfectly, but a second score for the same instrument doesn't play out the full value of the notes longer than a quarter note. I attach an example. Even if I copy and paste a series of perfectly functioning playback bars from the first score into the second - the problem persists. And I have now found that if I even copy and repaste the same passage from the corrupted score back into the corrupted score but change the tempo - the playback reacts differently, but still erroneously.
Please help! What is happening? Thank you, Graham

If you are using the original version of SSO, note that the samples it contains are not looped.
For this reason: I don't think this Clarinet sound will last for longer than 2.1 seconds.

Many thanks for the revelation. I have tested it out and what you say is true. I really appreciate the speed of your reply. The question then is : is there a later version of SSO that allows me to have a playback of the clarinet note of longer than 2.1 seconds? If so, is there a link where I can download it?
I heard the impressive video introducing the new Musescore 2.1 with the Beethoven symphony in the background and didn't realize that there couldn't be a note in it held for longer than 2.1 seconds.
Really appreciate your help, Graham
