No Volume

I cannot get any playback volume. Even when I try to just write notes, nothing happens. Ive searched for any fixes, but nothing works. My speakers work fine, and when I use other composition software, it works fine. Please tell me how to fix this, nothing works.

Anyone trying to help will need to know which operating system you are on.

Has it ever worked?
If so, did you add any hardware or software>
Have you looked at the volume in the synthesizer (view->synthesizer)
I closed this out since it is note a bug report, but rather a request for help. It is better to use "ask for help" rather than "bug report" for problems until it is determined that it is an actual bug.
