Big Band Scoring Question

Hi,

I am scoring a chart that calls for the Bari player to double Bb Clarinet for the first 15-1/2 measures, then switch to Bari for the rest of the chart. How can I enter this so that MuseScore will MIDI play the doubled part in the right pitch for the Bb Clarinet, then switch to the Eb Bari pitch range?

Unfortunately, you can't have both at once. You can either enter it to look right or sound right. I generally enter everything at concert pitch to sound right, then make a copy of the score before generating parts and transpose the clarinet (or other double) passages manually.
