Changing Percussion
In my score, I have a percussion part that changes between triangle and cymbal. Is there a way to change between those two instruments but keep them on the same staff? Replies would be appreciated.

The best way to handle this for percussion is simply to make the staff a "drum set" staff. That doesn't have to mean an actual drum in the jazz / rock sense. Just a set of instruments sharing a staff. You can choose how many staff lines to use, and define which staff lines produce which sounds (right click the staff, edit drum set).
