See also [[https://musescore.org/en/node/154336|Shorter reverb times for Zita 1]].

The reverb times only go down to 1 sec. This could be extended downwards to 0.25 secs (?) or less (?).

Similarly the minimum value for predelay (wrongly labelled "Delay") is currently set at 20 msecs. The "Reverb" section of the [[http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/reverb.html|Audacity]] manual suggests this could be extended down to zero (?). This is important for acheiving a smooth reverb at shorter delay times.

  • "Delay" is wrongly labelled—it should be called "Pre-delay" because it controls the onset time of the reverb (cf. "Audacity" etc.)
  • Predelay (to give it its proper name) should start at zero (cf. "Audacity" etc.)
  • Reverb time should start at 0.25 secs or less. 1 sec is too large.
