Change instrument Tenor, not changing when uploading
Hello,
When I make an instrument change in MuseScore, upload to this site, the file says part 1 Grand Piano and the music plays back as a piano...
These files are created in Finale 2012
> Export XML
> Import XML into MuseScore
> Instrument change in MuseScore
> no success...
Can someone please help

Yes this is the way I'm changing the instrument to Tenor sax: http://musescore.org/sites/musescore.org/files/Change%20Instrument.PNG.
Umm, do I have to save the file after editing, before 'saving online' ?

No idea if saving is necessary,. but it would be easy enough to test and find out.
If that doesn't work, try posting the score as an attachment here so we can see if there is something unusual going on.
I am guessing that you are trying to change the instrument using the Mixer window in MuseScore. That changes the sound used for playback only; it does not actually change the instrument used for notation purposes. To truly change the instrument - meaning it will show the name on the score, transpose correctly for the chosen instrument, identify notes out of range, and show up on the musescore.com score sharing site that way - right click an empty spot in a staff, choose Staff Properties, then Change Instrument.

Sorry I forgot to mention that I am changing by clicking on the name next to the staff and not by the mixer...
