No Sound

I downloaded MuseScore on to my MacBook a few months and it has been working fine up until this point. I can no longer hear what I’m composing when I press play/space. My volume on my MacBook is turned all the way up and I don’t know if I accidentally muted the program or what I did. What can I do to fix it?
