MuseScore 4.5 loading to black screens (Chromebook)

I hope someone can help me. I have just installed 4.5 on Linux in Chromebook using chmod +x and ./... install. MuseScore opens fine from the taskbar but the splash screens are all blacked out, so I can't proceed. I'm working on a brand new Asus Chromebook Plus i3 8gb RAM. I've worked on lower spec computers and MS has always run fine. Screenshot attached.
