corruption in vtest sample scores

  1. take a recent nightly build, e.g. f6e02ea
  2. open ...vtest/mmrest-1.mscz or ...vtest-bravura-mmrest.mscz (attached for reference)
  3. save copy
  4. open that copy

expected result: the copy looks the same as the original and matches the corresponding *-ref.png:
mmrest-1-ref.png bravura-mmrest-ref.png
actual result: the copy is corrupt and looks like this:
corrupt.png

The debug version emits an error message when generating the png:
Debug: Score::readStaff(): missing measure! (...\MuseScore\libmscore\scorefile.cpp:257, void Ms::Score::readStaff(Ms::XmlReader&))
