No, but possibly between systems, it to max system distance
Do you have more than one staff (i.e. instrument), or just more than one system?
To be clear: staves are not the same as systems. The staff distance controls distance between staves, which is to say, staves within a single system. That is, in music for several instruments. There is also "Grand staff distance" which controls distance for the two staves of a single instrument (eg, piano). But if you want to change the distance between entire systems (even if the system has only a single staff, like a lead sheet) then you need to be using the system distance settings.

Thanks Marc, your help is useful and to the point.
Perhaps a small nice to have: add a drawing in the dialog box containg these distance choice, showing a small illustration of what you are really modifying. It would be very appreciated by newbie I think.
