View > Page view / Continuous view for Multiple Tabs with a Synchronised Scrolling option
MuseScore2 opens new scores and new Parts in Page view.
Generally I prefer to develop in Continuous view.
Changing from Page to Continuous currently requires 3 mouse clicks per part (1=part tab, 2=toolbar drop-down menu button, 3=select). So a new score with say 20 instruments, plus a few extra Parts for grouped instruments etc, requires around 60 mouse clicks for development!
Afterwards, I will need to improve layout and formatting for clarity. That demands returning to Page View for every Part’s tab, and another 60 mouse headache pills!
I suggest putting on the View menu > Document view > Page view > This Tab only / All Parts’ Tabs
And …
View menu > Document view > Continuous view > This Tab only / All Parts’ Tabs
(Accommodating this on the present restricted toolbar button appears impossible.)
If composers can also assign their preferred shortcuts to All Parts’ Tabs facility, it will require just 1 keyed entry for toggling all parts’ views from Page to Continuous and vice versa.
This function may be repeated in other similar adjustments, such as Styles > General > Score with a toggle for Page / Continuous where the option ‘Apply to all Parts’ button already occurs, but shortcuts are absent, and repeated also when managing Parts—2 toggles for Page / Continuous and ‘this part only’ / ‘apply to all Parts.’
Furthermore, when working on say bar #64> in wind, I want to remind myself of strings, it would be convenient to have a View menu option of ‘Synchronised scrolling’ for part’s tabs to avoid having to recall and locate the particular bar/s # I’ve been working on in other parts. This saves finding it on full score.

You can also add a shortcut to toggle the page view like I did in edit->preferences->shortcuts. (I use ctrl-shift-v)

Thanks for your recommendation.
I had searched for the Action to add my Shortcut but I found nothing listed in my shortcuts, on my computer. I had been looking for Page View and Continuous View.
I have just seen Toggle View Mode !
It works well on the part displayed.
Thanks!
