In my music, I'm trying to add in some slurs. I know how, but I'm trying to copy the thing in the second picture. The first picture is what I have. It won't let me start the slur at the first 16th note and end on the third 8th note. Can you help me?
P.S., I hope this wasn't confusing.

Are you really using the 3.0 nightly? If that's the case and you've been able to do it before it may actually be a bug in the nightly. I doubt that you are using version 3.0 though.
Assuming you are using 2.1 or earlier here's what you need to do. The item that look like the first slur should a be tie (added by pressing the + key). To add the slurs over several notes, click the first note, hold shift and click the last note, press S to add the slur.
By the way, the issue tracker is for bugs, if this is not version 3 it's not a bug. You need to use the forum to ask for help. (It's the Ask for help menu item above the Report bug menu item you clicked to get here.
If you're really using version 3, please upload the score and explain what you are doing and we'll reopen it as a bug report.
