making rests invisible
Hi all,
I am writing out a song sheet. I need the bars and am adding chord symbols in each bar. I don't need the bars rest and would like to hide it or make it invisible. How do I do this please? Any ideas?

Select the rest and press V
If you have Show Invisible checked in the view menu they will appear gray.

Also note you can select all rests at once, just right click one, Select / All Similar Elements. Then you can hide them all at once with a single press of 'V" (or unchecking "Visible" in the Inspector if you've now got some visible and others invisible - "V" would just reverse that).
