Youtube video copying work

• Dec 14, 2017 - 04:10

I am a transcriber that recently transcribed the song Fiery Frolic by Kris Maddagan from Cuphead. Then VideoGamesSheetmusic on Youtube condensed my work into a Synthesia video and uploaded it without giving any credit. It has the same drumlines, intro, end, solos, everything.

So here I ask of 2 things:

  1. Is transcribing a score infringing Kris Maddigan's copyright? I gave him credit as the composer.

  2. And mainly, and most importantly, is there any way to take this video down? This person has no email to contact nor phone. Flagging it seems to not work. Musescore Help isn't responding so I'm taking this matter into my own hands. I don't have a Youtube channel, so it seems I cannot file a copyright report. Is there a way to block the video from showing my work? This isn't the first time it happened. It also happened with my transcription of Jump up, superstar, where people would steal entire scores.

Help is greatly needed.
Thank you for taking your time to read this.
