Score jumps to next page on adding last note(s) on a page
In Page View (which I prefer) the score jumps to the next (empty) page as soon as you enter a note in the last beat of the last bar on the current page.
This is (vaguely) annoying, esp. if you need to enter a chord at that spot (using Shft-ABCDEFGH keyboard input).
Is there a way around it?

Also note that you don't need to bother with the arrow left - just press Shift_letter normally and the note gets added where it should.

That's true, but I like to see what I'm doing... Sometimes you need octave up, accidentals, enharmonics etc.
It's a minor thing anyway. I only recently realized that I stay in note input mode after arrow left/right, and that I can correct mistakes 'on the fly'. Before that I quit note input mode with a couple of escapes and physically went back to the notes to be corrected.
PS I also checked that on the final bar of a score at a page break, there is no jump ahead to a (non-existent) next page, and you can enter a chord at leisure. So Musescore knows...

Not to belabor the point... I see in the just updated Handbook on Note Input (by Thomas) that the user is always encouraged to exit Note Input mode to make changes. But Using the arrow keys (arrow Left to where the mistake occurred) & Alt-Up & Alt-Down to navigate within a chord, then adjust pitch or duration, and go back (right arrow) to where you were, seems to me 10x more efficient. The only instance that I found so far where it does not work is that Alt-Down does not move from voice 2 to voice 1(and I'm not saying that it should).

In this example the half notes are voice 1, the 16th G is voice 2. Alt-Down moves the cursor from the G to the C in the bass clef.

When using alt+up/down, the arrows might be backward from what you expect. Voice 1 is above voice 2, voice 3 is below voice 2 so the arrows actually increase/decrease the numbers in the opposite direction of what you might expect. To help me I think of the voices graphically like this
Staff 1
Staff 2-voice 1
Staff 2-voice 2
Staff 2-voice 3
Staff 2-voice 4
Staff 3
this shows where the arrows will move your cursor. Also, moving to a different staff always moves to voice 1

You're absolutely right. If I have voice 1 above voice 2 the Alt-down works properly. And I know there's a command to switch voices. Many thanks.
