By adding a spacer and making that longer. There's no "negative" spacer in 2.x, so no way to make an individual distance smaller
As mentioned, to increase spacer, you need to lengthen the spacer - start by extending it until it reaches the other staff, and then keep going to "push" the other staff away. To decrease space, you need to do so globally, using the settings in Style / General / Page.
