How to hide barlines in the lyrics area.
I'm likely missing something obvious, but I can't figure out how to keep the barlines in the staff only, and not continuing through the lyrics area. I'm writing some hymn settings and I think it would look much better without the barlines running down through the text in between every measure.

I don't know exactly where your lyrics are located, but if you select one or all barlines on a piano staff (upper G clef and lower F clef) and open the Inspector, there is a "Spanned staves" that can be set to 1 to limit the barlines only to the staves and not the space in between them (if that is where your lyrics were).
