Musescore 2.1
I have the MacOS High Sierra 10.13.2 and update to Musescore 2.1 because the 2.0 version I had started with completely messed up preferences every time I opened it. I was having a lot of problems and thought updating would fix it, which it did, except there is no sound. I've read many other people were having the same problem, but has there been any recent solution for this?
I tried reset to factory settings, checking my output, , redownloading, and checking the synthesizer or play panel and nothing has worked. Only no sound on the application, not my computer.
Also I had it replace the old version, which I found I can't get back, and the only versions I can download now that are different are the new demos or the very old ones.
I also have a deadline for finishing these songs and i have not found a solution yet.

You can try downloading the nightly build of 2.2 (see the Download link above) to see if it fixes the sound issue - apparently it does for some people. Also try Help / Revert to Factory Settings. You can also find 2.0.3 available for download by following that same Download link.
