First page header(page number) still showing
I just can't seem to get rid of the first page number in this score with the appropriate check boxed clicked to make it happen. What am I missing? Any help would be great.

You don't have a page number on the 1st page (and not on the 2nd).
Intention of
$p
is a page number on all pages with number > 1, guess we have a bug here? (And it might be mine...)In reply to You don't have a page number… by Jojo-Schmitz
Is there a workaround or should I just get rid of the blank page?

workaround: Ctrl+T; Inspector-> Text Line...

Thank you Shoichi, what do I click on first before I press Ctrl+T? If you could go into more detail that would be stellar. Thank you.

The last element of the measure on the side you want.
Move the entered numbers slightly and you can see the anchorage (m. 14, beat1- 27,1-51,3)

Actually
$p
means "on all but the 1st page", not "on all but page 1" and additional logic is in place to never print page numbers below 1, so the outcome here is actually by design.
