Not able to write music when stafflines are invisible
Iam using a macbook
To reproduce this bug:
1. Open a new project and select "treble clef" template
2. right-click on staff, go to 'staff properties'
3. Check 'invisible staff lines' and click apply
4. now try to write some on that staff, it doesn't write anything.
Are others also getting the same result?

Because you try to enter notes with the mouse. It works with the computer keyboard or Piano keyboard (probably by design I guess)

Ok but this is a bug right? Because you where also not able to enter notes with the mouse.

Correct, the failure using the mouse is a bug. Feel free to support it formally to the issue tracker (eg, using Help / Report a Bug from within MuseScore).
I'm not sure if it's by design, but on Windows 10 I can't enter notes with the mouse when the staff lines are visible, but I can enter notes and chords with the keyboard.
