Unable to add Sixteenth note

I am trying to add a Sixteenth note to a measure. In the measure I rest for all but the last Sixteenth note and the the Sixteenth note becomes the pickup to the next measure. It is in 4/4.

And what does that have to do with the Plugin Automatic Chord Identifier (MuseScore 2)?
In MuseScore there's no problem entering a 16th note into measure one, or any other measure of your score.
