Musescore is Not Playing the "Playback" Sounds Even After Reverting to Factory Settings and Toggling with Speakers

Even after clicking on "Revert to Factory Settings" and making sure there was nothing wrong on my end, the "Playback" button and the surrounding buttons associated with it are grayed-out, and I cannot even select it. I do not know what else to do. May I have some help?
