Problems with repeats.

you will find the first attachment Waltz_of_Heroes_Studies.mscz with problems.
Then I tried to replace the D.C./D.S with the Volta, without success.
Some idea? What is the problem I don't see?

That 2nd end-repeat barline doesn't have a corresponding start-repeat barline (the first implicitly has on at the start of the score/section)

Open Playback Panel;
Set the speed to maximum;
Close the score: Crash...

Jojo is close.
What you're likely missing is a start repeat barline in m10 (at rehearsal mark B).
By not having that line, the current result is that your endRepeats are all linked back to the same startRepeat of m1. If that is indeed the intent and playback should jump back to m1, then you should rather change the volta-properties:
* where the text now reads '1' (m25) set the repeatlist to "2"
* where the text now reads '2' (m26) set the repeatlist to "3"

Thank you, I think my solution https://musescore.org/it/node/271308#comment-830098 (Waltz_of_the_Eros_StufiTer.mscz) is closer to Manuele's needs
