CRITICAL CHANGE TIME SIGNATURE ERROR!!!
In a 12/8 time signature I can't change to a 4/4 !?? This has not happened in previous versions!

Without seeing the actual score it is impossible to tell for sure. My first guess is that you changed the time signature one staff (stave) at a time to read 12/8. My second guess is that somewhere that I can't see there is a tuplet of some sort that would end up crossing a bar line.
