Musescore Won't Open

Hello!

I just downloaded musescore after a very long hiatus, and I'm having trouble installing it.

Well, the program installed just fine-- however, when I try to open musescore, a dialog box pops up saying, "Please wait while windows configure Yamaha Steinberg ASIO driver," then it closes and another pops up saying, "Preparing to install..." Nothing happens after this, except if I wait long enough one more dialog box pops up saying "Install server not responding." I can't close any of these boxes unless I force quit musescore. I'm not sure what's going on here. Maybe someone could enlighten me to what's going on here.
