How do you create music without barlines
I am trying to create harmony exercises. These are written in whole notes and do not have bar lines except a double bar line at the end. Is there a way to accomplish this. Just hiding the bar lines does not work as they are still visible on the screen.

Edit / Measure / Join Selected Measures is indeed the best way.
But FWIW, making the barlines invisible does work, even though you still see them on screen to facilitate further editing, they won't print or export to PDF, PNG, SVG, etc. And if seeing them on screen really bothers you, you can disable this in View / Show invisible.
