how to put pizzicato into my piece of music

I am currently working on taking a musical score from one of my all time favorite television shows and attempting to make an "all violins" version of the piece.

However. I have hit a snag. The piece has some quite lovely and intricate sections of pizzicato. Although I can write music and play it in the non-virtual world. I don't know how to write ( and make the system do ) pizzicato like I want it to do with this program.

Any and all advice would be much appreciated.
