Spacing
How do I increase space between the two piano staves? When I increase staff space on the page settings, it increases space between all staves, except the two for the piano. These are so close together that the ties overlap, making it hard to read.

Click on the left hand stave, Hold down Shift and drag.

"Staff distance" is for staves of different instruments. To increase the spaces within a single isntrument like piano, try "Grand staff distance". Or, to increase spacer on one system only, use a spacer from the Breaks & Spacers palette. BTW, you might also consider flipping some of the slurs (not ties) to the outside of the staves (press "X"), to avoid collisions.
