It's not totally clear what you mean, but as you enter notes, the cursor moves to the right, and the score repositions to keep the cursor in view - just like in a word processor or any other program in which information is added left to right. But if for whatever reason you'd prefer to move the score manually, you can turn off the "Pan score automatically" button on the toolbar.
