musescore 2.3.2 installer opens Firefox and starts to download installer again ... but does not install via Windows Installer
upon downloading the latest version of MUSESCORE (2.3.2.) the downloaded installer opens Firefox and starts to download the same version again - but does not install the programme !

My idea would be that you are double clicking a shortcut to the MuseScore download page, rather than the msi file, assuming you are on Windows. Could you verify the entire filename on which you click as well as its filesize?

thanks - I had defaulted the installer to FIREFOX ... I will never forgive myself
