I did follow the instruction provided with the plugins. But it seems like the Musescore 2.3.2 , is not recognizing the plugin.
After unzipping the plugins folder and adding it to the Musescore2/contents/plugins. i restarted musescore as instructed, but the plugin manager doesn't rocognize it !!!
I used it before on windows pc, but with an older version of musescore 2.0.... and it was running fine.

Try open/run it via the Plugin Editor, this may give hints as to why it fails.
You're talking about https://musescore.org/en/project/quarter-tone-playback, right?
It still does work with MuseScore 2.3.2 on Windows 7
See also https://musescore.org/en/handbook/plugins#mac-os-x, you're suppoded to copy it to ~/Documents/MuseScore2/Plugins, not to Musescore2/contents/plugins.
