MuseScore 3 Alpha – Alert when accessing preferences
When I try to access MuseScore's preferences in version 3 Alpha I get this alert:
"Dies wird alle Ihre Voreinstellungen zurücksetzen.
Benutzerdefinierte Paletten, angepasste Tastenkürzel und die Liste der zuletzt geöffneten Partituren werden gelöscht. MuseScore wird mit seinen ursprünglichen Voreinstellungen neu gestartet.
Es werden dabei keine Partituren von Ihrem Computer entfernt.
Sind Sie sicher, dass Sie weiter machen wollen?"
Why is that?

As far as I remember (but I can't find the post) there was a request to that effect.
But it should only appear if you use the Reset All Preferences to Default button

Ah, interesting. It happens the moment I open the preferences.
I've opened preferences several times and never seen that warning. I also have never pressed the button.

It's reproducible for me.
Perhaps it's an issue limited to certain localisations? As you can tell from the error, I have MuseScore set to German.

Try to set to 'System' but it could be the same.
Jojo?

Doesn't happen to me. That message should only show when reverting to factory settings.

Thanks, Shoichi. German is my System language. But I deleted all preferences and choose English (US) during setup and with that I didn't run into the issue. So that would indeed suggest it's locale related.
Should I file an issue in the tracker?

Mine is German too, and I don't see this. But then again I'm using self builds versions, maybe that makes the difference.
Downloading the alpha now...

yes, several times. But I'll do it again.

Try returning your language to system to see if it comes back.
Happened again with the beta:

Can't reproduce with the AppImage either.
