Installation
My P.C. has had various crashes recently due to a faulty board. MuseScore wouldn't load so i uninstalled it. To make sure I used AVG to remove any references in the registry, deleted everything in the Musescore folder, downloaded and tried to install Musescore2. All I get when installing is:
"The Older Version of Musescore cannot be removed - please contact technical support@
Can you help, please?

Did you use the add/remove programs from windows to remove the program first? This should have uninstalled the old version. Using the portable version on the download page will allow for installing the newest version without needing to remove the old version.
Does AVG let you undo what you did? Probably it left enough behind to make the installer need to access some things but then also deleted those things the installer would have needed.
