No audio during playback on MacBook when using wired headphones
I've been having issues with audio playback on my MacBook Pro. I was just sitting outside my lecture hall writing some stuff and audio playback on my headphones was working just fine, but then I packed my computer up and went into class, and now the audio has stopped functioning. Nothing is muted or soloed in the mixer, and I'm not really certain what to do.

Is this right?

Assuming you want to hear through the external headphones, then yes. You'd also need to be sure they aren't muted by your system. Sometimes a restart of MuseScore might be needed after a change in hardware.

I've actually had the system preferences set to output to the external headphones for awhile now. What's so troublesome is that the problem is intermittent. Sometimes I can hear and sometimes I can't. What might cause this?

Is there another application that has prevailing audio control?

Its possible that another application was taking priority for audio. If this is the case, is there a way to prioritize MuseScore's audio demands?
