Acciaccatura Questions

• Sep 26, 2018 - 05:11
  1. Is it common to have multiple note acciaccatura?
  2. Can acciaccatura be written as 16th or 32nd notes?

Note: I'm not asking about appoggiatura. Specifically only acciaccatura.

Yes, multiple note acciaccaturas are common - whether as chords (multiple notes struck simultaneously, which you'd enter by adding notes to chord normally - Shift+letter) or as sequences (which you'd enter one at a time). They are indeed often written using 16th or shorter note values, especially if the main note is itself shorter. To do that, click the note, change duration using toolbar (while in Normal mode).
