Can't Replicate Sheet Music in MuseScore
I purchased sheet music for "You Are So Beautiful" and decided to use this as a practice piece for using MuseScore. I did, however, run into a brick wall when attempting to enter the notes in measure 7. The attached photo shows the original sheet music. Unfortunately, when I try to input into MuseScore what is shown in measure, I can't get it to come out this way at all. I know it must have something to do with the time signature (4/4) and therefore the number of rests available within the measure. And since I can't recreate what is shown there is either something "wrong" with the original score, or I am doing something wrong in MuseScore. (I realize that posting what I actually get in MuseScore might be the way to go, but since I get a plethora of permutations when attempting to recreate measure 7 I thought it might be best just to show what it's supposed to look like first.) Thanks for the help in advance. --- John
