I discovered a bug in the rhitmic notation.
When I try to write an eight note with a dot and then a 16th note, the 16e note isn't a 16th but an eight,

I can't reproduce here from scratch. Please attach the score (not an image) for checking, and by providing details on the location - measure(s) ? - of what you observe.

you can hide the clef in measure 2 the same way you did it in measure 1, but better disable it all together via staff properties.
The score got created with MuseScore 2.3.2, are you having a problem in 2.3.2 or really in a development build of 3.0?
I guess the former, as in 3.0 there is no additional clef in measure 2

Well, by exporting the file in the format MusicXML, the displaying of the 16th is correct again: Bossa Nova.mxl
Of course, in such a case, the layout has to be redone.
It would be necessary to know the history and the source of this file: it was opened the first time in December 2016 (and so with the version 2.0.3, and saved later with the 2.3.?)
So, considering that it is only a single file, and that its origin is questionable (and, from what I see right now, it cannot be reproduced), I recommend closing this issue. And to reopen if something similar appears in a while.

Yes thanks, sometimes I use an old file because the layout is already okay. And thanks for the "staff-properties"-suggestion. I couldn't find a solution in the Style menu.
